fardeen khan, fardeen khan comeback, visfot

Actor Fardeen Khan took a break from Bollywood after starring in Dulha Mil Gaya in 2010. However, he left us amazed when he made a comeback with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi. The series got him under the spotlight. After which, he then made his theatrical comeback with Khel Khel Mein along with Akshay Kumar and now, Fardeen is gearing up for the release of Visfot. Fardeen was away from Bollywood for 14 years and he regrets taking such a long break.

During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Fardeen mentioned that it is hard to come back after taking a long break. He even called the industry fickle but felt grateful as the people loved him and remembered him.

Fardeen Khan on taking a long break

The Fida actor told us, “I have a big regret for taking such a long break but at the same time, I earned a beautiful relationship with my two children. On one side, there is regret, on one side, there’s a lot of joy. One has to be philosophical about these things. I wish I hadn’t taken such a long break but coming back yes as you said is most certainly not easy. This is a fickle industry, this is a young man’s game but I’m just grateful that people have remembered me fondly. Somewhere my work has touched their hearts. It has given them joy and they’re giving me all their love back. I cannot begin to express my gratitude and how fortunate I think I am because it doesn’t happen often.

Fardeen also spoke about back-to-back releases

Khan said, “It wasn’t planned, Visfot was supposed to be released in 2022, but it got delayed. Heeramandi was supposed to release in 2023 and then it came out finally in 2024. Khel Khel Mein was always releasing when it was meant to be released. I think it’s my luck my good fortune that after such a long gap to have three different releases, three very different roles and someone up there is smiling down upon me. I’m counting my blessings and I’ve got positive feedback from people who follow my work. I’m very grateful, one picture at a time and I’m happy. It’s been a great learning experience for me all over again.
